Biopsies
Sedation

A dental implant is a titanium post (like a tooth root) that is surgically positioned into the jawbone beneath the gum line that allows your dentist to mount replacement teeth or a bridge into that area. An implant doesn't come loose like a denture can. Dental implants also benefit general oral health because they do not have to be anchored to other teeth, like bridges.

If your general dentist suspects pathology, they may indicate you have it biopsied by an oral surgeon.

Sedation can reduce the anxiety associated with your dental visit.  From conscious sedation to general anesthesia, our oral surgeons can discuss all of your option in making your visit as comfortable as possible.

Wisdom teeth or third molars may erupt around age 18.  Sometimes they do not cause any pain, but often they can cause issues with the adjacent teeth or the gums surrounding them.  It is easiest to have then removed in your late teens or early twenties as the bone is soft and scheduling is easier.  Our experienced oral surgeons can discuss the options for wisdom teeth removal.
